Nigerian female athlete and world record holder Tobi Amusan has on Thursday defended the Diamond League 100meters hurdles title in a record time of 12.29secs, beating Gail Devers’ 22-year-old record of 12.39 secs. The United States Kendra Harrison and Britany Anderson of Jamaica both came second and third, respectively.

With this title, Tobi Amusan adds to her 2022 collection of achievements, including the World Record, World Championship, Commonwealth and Africa Championship titles.
