In 14days, Troop of Operation Hadin Kai, kill 31 terrorist, arrest 71 and received the surrender of 1,186.
Brig-Gen Bernard Onyeuko, the Acting Director of the Defense Media Operations while speaking with members of the press on Thursday 11th 2021, shared this information.
In a briefing in Abuja, Brig-Gen Bernard spoke highly of the exploits of the troops of Operation Hadin Kai. He said between Oct 29th and Nov 11; the troop have killed 31 terrorists and arrested 71 including two women who serve as logistics suppliers. They have received the surrender of 226 adult males, 406 adult females and 555 children all across Borno state. In that time, the troops have ensured the safety of 97 innocent civilians.
“Within the period in focus, the troops of Operation Hadin Kai conducted a series of land and air operations across the North-East theatre that yielded commendable results. The sustained synergy in the land and air operational efforts have continued to degrade the operational capabilities of the terrorist elements, limit their freedom of action and drive scores of them into surrendering.
Some of these operations were executed at different locations in Borno and Yobe, including; Rann, Dalayazara, Gwange Kura, Bam Buratai, Makintakuri and Muduvi villages as well as Marte – Dikwa and Buni Yadi – Jauro Bashir roads,” he said.
