PDP Governors.

Following the party meeting in Rivers State on Monday, the governors under the People’s Democratic Party have advised the National Assembly to pass the bill regardless of President Buhari’s concern.

Driving The News. 
The National Assembly, which will reconvene today, Tuesday, 18th January, after their Christmas and New Year’s break, received a decline of the bill by President Buhari in December. The President had cited the direct primary clause and the cost of operation as his reasons for refusing to sign the bill.

In the communique read by the Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, the governors advised the National Assembly to ensure that they pass the bill. Also, the group heaped blame on President Buhari for refusing to do what’s necessary to tackle insecurity in the country.
