Former Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Olasupo Shasore, SAN, is in the custody of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over his role in the Process & Industrial Development scam.
Why it matters?
Reports say Mr Olasupo Shasore was paid $2 million by the Federal Government to represent P&ID in a case filed against the company in London. But he incompetently carried out his duties. They are accusing him of being compromised as he carried out his duties.
The former Attorney General arrived at the Abuja office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to answer questions about his role in the P&ID crisis. The details of this event are still unknown as investigations are still underway.
