The Director General, Voice of Nigeria, Mr Osita Okechukwu, is currently in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja.

According to an insider’s information by the punch newspaper, Mr Osita Okechukwu has been in EFCC custody for the second night straight over allegations such as conspiracy, abuse of power, and misuse of public funds of over N1.3billion.
According to reports, Mr Osita Okechukwu initially visited the anti-graft agency in the Federal Capital on Saturday, honoring an invitation sent to him. His appointment took another turn after the officials of EFCC arrested him and are questioning him over his role in a fraud case leveled against him.
