Former Governor of Kwara state and former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki will run for the 2023 presidential elections.

The race to the presidential election in 2023 is gradually heating as more political figures are declaring their interest.
Bukola Saraki made this announcement on Tuesday 23rd November 2021 while speaking to the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, in Makurdi. So far in his political career, he has been the President of the senate, Governor of Kwara state, Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
While speaking at a PDP meeting with other dignitaries present, he said, “A political party that cannot organize its affairs has no business leading this country. A party that has organized its affairs is ready to lead the country and that is the PDP.”
