Lagos State Government has announced the partial closure of marine bridge and Dopemu road, both projects are to be partially shut for rehabilitation reasons.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, made this announcement while assuring lagosians that they have notified the necessary authorities to allow the easy flow of traffic.
He said from Monday, January 17 to Saturday, April 2, 2022 the bridge will be partially shut for repairs while from 10pm, on Friday, January 21, 2022 they would divert motorists from Dopemu road to allow rehabilitation of Babajide Sanwo-Olu road.
The Commissioner also said that alternative routes are available for motorists to ensure that lagosians can go about their daily duties.
