An official report released yesterday, 13th January 2022, announced that Emirates Airline would resume flights in countries like Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Uganda, and Angola without mentioning Nigeria.
The Big Picture.
The report clearly states that as passengers resume flights from Guinea, Uganda and Ghana, they will have to present a negative PCR test 2 days before their departure. Also, passengers from Angola and Côte d’Ivoire will take their test 3 days before their departure and another test on landing.
The airline had said on December 25, 2021, that passengers with a 14 days’ travel history from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia or Nigeria would not be granted entry into the country. They put this measure in place to fight the surge of Covid cases recorded during the last quarter of the year.
