On Monday, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria through the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Henrietta Yakubu announced in a statement that it has arrested about 90 people for criminal acts at Lagos and Abuja airports.

Mrs. Yakubu said they arrested these people at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja over criminal acts such as presentation of fake Covid test results, unauthorized entry, trespassing, theft, lottery and many more.
She said they handed 59 of them to the airport police in the federal capital while they handed the rest to the police force in Lagos. She further warned both airport officials and Nigerians to desist from any punishable offense in and around the airport.
