Unidentified gunmen have on Friday morning assassinated the Director of Operations of Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Malam Dauda.

Reports say that five unidentified gunmen invaded the residence of the Director in the early hours of Friday at his home in Barakallahu community of Igabi Local Government Area. The gunmen killed the Director without making away with any of the valuables in the house.
Speaking to newsmen, the head of the community, Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi said that the Divisional Police Officers of Rigachikun and Barnawa had visited the crime scene. He then called on the state government to help solve the issues surrounding the land dispute between the community and the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
