The number one man of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr Efiong Akwa has turned down suggestive opinions for him to join the 2023 Presidential race.

The NDDC Boss, while speaking at a new year ceremony in Amamong, Akwa Ibom state, said that he would rather focus on his job and deliver excellent results than join the race for an exalted position. He recommended Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Dr Godswill Akpabio, as a perfect candidate for the position.
Comparing his job as the NDDC boss to being president, Dr Akwa said that being the sole administrator is not enough criteria to govern a nation.
