Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on 8th September 2022, customary practices including the enthronement of King Charles III, commencement of a 10-day mourning period, change in national anthem, etc. have taken place. Meanwhile, some other remarkable events have occurred as a ramification of the monarch’s death.
- Prince William and Kate made $1.3 billion in a day
Following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and his wife Kate not only received new names (Duke and Duchess of Cornwall), the duo both 40 years of age received a whopping $1.3 billion (£1.1 billion) from the Crown Estate, Sovereign Grants and inheritance from his late mother Princess Diana.
Prince William and Kate came into this wealth by acquiring the previous title of his father, King Charles III. Alongside being the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, the couple are also Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince and Princess of Wales.
- The Queen would be buried in a lead-lined coffin
Similar to the coffin used for the Duke of Edinburgh, who died in 2021, they will bury the late Queen Elizabeth II in an English oak coffin with brass handles and lead-lined. The coffin would be so heavy to carry that it requires eight military pallbearers instead of the customary six.
The reason for the lead lining in the coffin is to slow decomposition, as they would lay the monarch in the royal vault alongside the other late royals as against a traditional burial.
- Eerie Nostradamus Predictions
Reports have uncovered Eerie Nostradamus writings from 1555, which predicted the death of a queen in 2022. The predictions also claim the newly enthroned King Charles III would abdicate the throne to “a man who was never expected to be King”.
The French astrologer and proclaimed seer in the past predicted the bombing of the twin towers, the Iraq War, the 2008 financial crisis and the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
- Man Runs in front of King Charles III convoy
The newly enthroned King Charles III got his first security scare as the UK’s Sovereign when a man ran in front of his car as the King was travelling through west London. Reports say the man was attempting to get a close look at the King’s convoy seeing his phone was in his hand. King Charles III security agents tackled the man in a very dramatic scene, as reported by several news channels.
