Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have invited the Managing Director, Asset Management Company of Nigeria, Mr Ahmed Kuru, for questioning.

Reports say that Mr Ahmed Kuru arrived at the EFCC office in the late hours of Wednesday, for questions relating to alleged crimes of asset diversion and underselling of seized assets.
In an interview with newsmen, the AMCON spokesperson Jude Nwauzor did not deny the reports that Mr Ahmed Kuru was at the office of the EFCC. Although he said that the Managing Director went there for consultation, as is his usual practice. He explained that sometimes these meetings stretch beyond expected.
